What the section holds

Vibration material for mechanical candidates sits in the mechanical engineering section rather than here.

Dynamics is examined on Civil, Mechanical and Other Disciplines specifications. The Mechanical specification combines it with kinematics and vibrations into one of its largest knowledge areas, which is precisely the case where the handbook splits the content across two sections.
