What stays free?
The whole reference layer - all 21 handbook section pages, all 7 discipline hubs, and the full 224-entry table of contents - is free forever, with no account. So is 1 full timed round of 12 items every day, stratified so every part of the handbook can appear, plus a 20-item starter pool you can replay as often as you like without spending the daily round.
What does Premium actually add?
Unlimited timed rounds drawn from all 581 drill items, rounds scoped to any one of the 7 FE disciplines, weak-area rounds built from the sections your own record says you are slowest in, a timed 40-item simulation on a 20-minute clock, and the full progress record with a text export.
What is the progress record?
A log of every round you finish, kept in your own browser and rolled up into accuracy for each of the 21 handbook sections, so you can see which part of the book you are slow in. Premium opens the whole history, the per-section accuracy, the weakest-first ranking that weak-area rounds are built from, and the text export. Free shows your most recent round. Rounds are recorded whether or not you have Premium, so nothing is lost if you subscribe later.
Do I need the handbook itself?
Yes, and you should have it open beside this. The drill trains you to find things in your own copy; it does not contain the handbook and never will. You download the handbook free from NCEES with a MyNCEES account.
What happens when NCEES publishes a new handbook?
The drill is built on section names, which survive revisions, and every page number lives in one versioned data file. A new edition is a data update rather than a rewrite, and the version the page data is calibrated to is shown on the site rather than assumed.
Do I need an account?
No. Purchases are anonymous: your access lives in this browser, identified by a code you are shown immediately after paying. There is no sign-up, no password, and no email required to use the site.
How do I use Premium on another device?
Copy your access code from this page and enter it at /restore on the other browser. That is exactly what the code is for, which is why you are pushed quite hard to save it when you buy.
I lost my access code. What now?
Email socialreminderinfo@gmail.com from the email address on your receipt and we can look it up.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time from the management link in your receipt email, or from the link on this page once you are subscribed. Lifetime is a one-time payment with nothing to cancel.
Is this connected to NCEES?
No. RefDrill is an independent study site with no affiliation to NCEES and no endorsement from them. The FE Reference Handbook is NCEES's copyrighted work and none of it is reproduced here. Buying Premium has no bearing whatsoever on any exam registration, sitting, or result.
